Despite a 27.5% reduction in the supply of Nio Inc. electric cars last month, the company’s shares gained 3.6% in price.
Shares of AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. rose 4.8% due to the growth in ticket sales last month, which was the highest since the beginning of last year.
Investors’ attention is focused on Tesla Inc., whose securities increased by 8.5% because the company’s capitalization exceeded $ 1 trillion in the previous week. This contributed to the growth of the S&P 500 consumer services sector by 1.5%.
Brent crude futures gained 1.2% and reached $84.71 per barrel.
It should be noted that the consolidated European STOXX Europe 600 indicator showed an increase of 0.7%, the Japanese Nikkei 225 indicator added 2.6%, but other Asia-Pacific indices declined: Hang Seng – by 0.9%, Shanghai Composite – by 0.1%.
